Sitter Roster
The VCU Sitter Roster is a referral listing of VCU students and staff members who agree to sit with the children or elderly relatives of the University's employees. The sitter roster is made available only to members of the VCU community (students, staff, faculty, alumni, etc.).
The roster provides the following information:
- Sitter's current schedule.
- Sitter preferences: children or adults; overnight availability; location (which part of town).
- Transportation requirements: their own or need assistance.
We accept new sitters at any time and update the roster periodically.
If you would like a copy of the sitter roster, email us with your request, obtain a sitter roster request form on-line, or call Work/Life Resources at 828-1533.
An application to become a sitter is available on-line or from VCU Human Resources in the Lindsey House at 600 West Franklin Street. Only VCU faculty, staff, students, alumni, and family members are eligible to have their names placed on the sitter roster.
The sitter roster has been compiled by VCU Work/Life Resources for use as a referral list only.
VCU does not recommend or endorse any person listed, and all listed persons
should be investigated fully with respect to their suitability for employment.
By providing this roster, VCU assumes no financial or other responsibility for any relationship
established by and between any person listed on the roster and any other individual.
