Program requirements and courses
NOTE: Only those with Personnel Administrator (PA) access can enroll in the Personnel Administrator Certification (PAC) program. Click here for more information about obtaining PA access.
Progress toward and completion of the PAC program requirements is the responsibility of the PA with support from Human Resources. Upon receiving PA certification, eligible participants receive a $100 recognition bonus.
All new and experienced personnel administrators who wish to receive PA certification must take:
- Three required PAC courses
- Two elective courses within 24 months of registering for the PA Certification program
In addition to the annual Banner recertification quiz, certified PAs need to take two additional courses annually to keep their PA certification active.
Personnel administrator (PA) certification program
PA certification is awarded after participants complete several required courses and two electives (which vary year to year based on learning needs), including the following:
