Register for Human Resources Training:

Classroom Sessions (including Banner HR classroom sessions)

Banner HR On-Line Training (via Blackboard)

       To complete HR Banner training on-line via Blackboard:

  • Click on the Courses tab in the top row.

  • In the "Course Search" box, key in Banner and click Go.

  • Click the desired course Enroll button and follow the prompts to complete the course and required quiz.

Note:  Before registering for any training, you will need your supervisor's approval.  To register, you will need your eID and password – if you do not know these, visit the eID Finder website.

New Employee Orientation


Classified Orientation

VCU holds biweekly orientation sessions.  Due to space limitations, new employees are scheduled for orientation by VCU Human Resources and should attend the sessions only on their assigned orientation dates.   There is an on-line presentation of information you should view prior to your orientation session.  Click here to view the session.

 

Faculty Orientation

Generally, faculty orientations are held as individual meetings with a HR Generalist or, in the summer/fall, as group meetings.  There is an on-line presentation of information you should view prior to your orientation session.  Click here to view the session.
