In support of the VCU 2020 Strategic Plan - Vision for Excellence, Human Resources' Work/Life Resources program provides relocation information to prospective and newly hired faculty and staff from outside of Richmond.
VCU Search Committees
Work/Life Resources invites University search committees to contact us for relocation packets. Call 828-1533 or complete a service request form.
Relocation packets are designed to help recruit prospective candidates to the VCU and Richmond communities. The packets consist of material about Richmond, VCU, the local real estate market, area school systems, etc. Additional information on children's activities, eldercare resources, or other special needs can be included upon request.
Spouses/Partners
HR staff can provide information on local employment opportunities, access to referral services, and ongoing relocation information to spouses or partners of new hires. While these assistance services do not guarantee employment, we have designed them to help respond to some of the important needs of newcomers to the area.
