the same holidays as students; they do not accrue holiday time.

schedule above includes additional holiday time granted by the Governor.

VCU's 2007 Winter Closing (December 21, 2007
through January 1, 2008) requires no additional hours for
which
eligible faculty and staff must take
leave (with or without pay) to cover the time away from work.

Tuesday, January 1,
2008 (New Year's Day) is a 2008 holiday and is included in VCU's 2008 holiday schedule.
VCU resumes normal business operations on
Wednesday, January 2, 2008.
Note:
The holiday schedule above does not apply to VCU Health System employees, as
they are covered
by the Paid Time Off
(PTO) program that combines annual, sick,
and holiday leave.
